Alright guys. It's come to my attention that it's time for the RP levels to kick in, so here's how it works.
From here on out, each game and each member will have a level number.
Level One:
New players start out in level one. If you have not played on Brave Ireland before, you start here.
There are two ways to move up from level one.
One. If you belong in a higher level, it will become obvious pretty quick. Just post in a level one game a few times, and you'll be moved up accordingly. If you think your posting has been overlooked and that you should be a level two, please contact
lestat or
Amarante.
Two. Send
lestat or
Amarante either a sample of writing (must be at least 5 paragraphs, at least 3 sentences per paragraph, or more) or a link to a past RP that you were part of.
If you are not moved up, just keep working on your RPing skills in the level one games. Your skills will improve and you will be moved up accordingly. If you want help improving, contact
lestat or
Amarante, or a Level Four player and they will find a coach for you.
Level Two:
To reach level two you don't necessarily need to be an experienced RPer. You need to exhibit the ability to communicate with other people, follow the rules, and be able to follow the flow of the games.
If you have not RPed on BI before but think you should be level two rather than level one, please contact the admin as specified in the Level One guidelines.
Level Three:
Level three is for the more advanced players. These players have shown themselves to be skilled in writing, plot construction, and are active players.
Level Four:
The only difference between Levels three and four is that Level Four Players are available to help less experienced players improve their skills. If you need help RPing, please contact a level four player.
Levels Rules:
Each Game has a level. If you are a level one player you may only play in level one and freestyle RPs. If you are a level two player you may play in Level one, two, and freestyle games. Level three and four players can play in any game they like.
Game Levels:
Freestyle games: Freestyle games are very loose RPs where you often play as yourself. These games are simply for goofing off and having fun. Anyone can play.
Level One: Level one games are for learning or just having fun. Anyone can play.
Level Two: Level Two games make up the majority of the Brave Ireland games. These are for intermediate and advanced players. These games pay attention to plot and characters. Level two games are open to Levels 2 3 and 4.
Level Three: On occasion, the advanced players may wish to have a fast paced RP that pays close attention to plot, character development and writing ability. These games are open to level three and four only.
Level Four: Level Four games are planned games simply done for examples and educational purposes. A level four game is intended to show players that are more inexperienced a certain concept or idea. These games are open to Level four and approved level three players only.
Invite Only: Sometimes there may be an Invite Only RP. These games usually have a set plot and specific players needed. The only way to get into one of these is to be invited or approved beforehand.
Your Level:
Once each RPer is assigned a level, a level ranking image (shown below) will show up below thier name on every post.
If you think you are in the wrong level or have further questions, please contact
lestat or
Amarante.
